Emperor: Battle for Dune represents the seamless combination of
cutting-edge 3D graphics and perfected real-time strategy gameplay.
In your conquest for the Imperial Throne, choose from 3 unique sides
and 5 powerful subgroups to plot a perilous course through up to 5
treacherous gameworlds. In both singleplay and multiplay, lead your
forces in both large-scale planetary strategies and cunning ground-
level tactics. Westwood Studios is proud to have chosen the gripping
universe of Dune for its first 3D real-time strategy title - Emperor:
Battle for Dune.

Game Features:

- Command one of 3 unique sides: Select your best hope the noble
Atreides, the evil Harkonnen or the secretive Ordos to seize the
Imperial Throne. Prove you can lead. Prove you can reign.
- Build alliances with 5 distinct subgroups: Ally with any of 5 powerful
subgroups, such as the stealthy Fremen, to gain access to amazing new
technologies and units.
- Explore strange distant worlds: Will you do battle on the oceanic
paradise of Caladan, the industrial wasteland of Giedi Prime, or the
icy planet of Draconis IV? The battle for Dune takes many paths.
- Make large-scale strategic advances: Plot out your own strategy for
victory through over 33 individual territories on the large-scale
campaign map.
- Choose your ground-level tactics: After choosing which territory to
invade, employ cunning ground-level tactics to achieve critical mission
objectives.
- Control diverse new units: From the stealthy Dust Scout to the hulking
Minotaurus tank, you'll have no shortage of unique units from each
side. Many units have dual modes for attack or defense. Choose which
mode fits your tactics.
- Preserve your units for later upgrades: Preservation of units overtime
turns newbie forces into battle-hardened veterans packed with extra

Special Note:

On popular user demand we decided to release this 88 Disk
Masterpiece Rip. Mr. Decompress did another AWESOME job
on getting this 4 CD game down to an acceptable size so
that users on slower links can also enjoy this great game.
As this rip doesn't conform with the current rip rules
it is meant to be distributed to MYTH affiled sites only.

[ INSTALL NOTES ]

1. Unzip.
2. Unace manually or use our installer, In case you haven't noticed yet,
we use Ace v2.0 compression.
3. Run setup.bat to decompress sound and unpack data. (this will take a
while, since there is a shitload of data to unpack!!)
4. Start the game with Emperor.exe.
