RELEASE NOTES
If you liked Warcraft or Command & Conquer, but wish that you could do
more research-oriented stuff to go out and create new technologies, then
you'll love this sweet title from Bullfrog. Gene Wars pits you in a
futuristic battle, where the participants in the carnage are generated
via fantastic genetic experiments. You'll start the game in an envir-
onment with terrain reminiscent of Magic Carpet and Populous, and once
you've collected your specimens and built your base, you'll head to the
lab to hatch the weapon of your choice. Compete against ferocious
aliens or even your blood-thirsty friends via 4 player network play.
Enjoy this killer title and expect more from the only group with the

* NOTES : To install the game, just un-RAR it and it will create a
directory off of the root called GENEWARS. Edit the top two
lines of the CONFIG.INI file to match the drive letter and
path that the game has been installed into. Use INST.EXE to
select your sound card for speech, digital sound, and music.
Finally, copy over the cracked GW.EXE from the last disk of
the release and start the game by typing GENEWARS. Enjoy!
