Can a New York delicatessen clerk succesfully
coach a ragtag college bakdetball team to a
winning season? David Greene (Kaplan) leaves his
cold cuts, cheese and wife behind in pursuit of
his dream: to coach basketball. He is hired by
the least-known college in Nevada at $50 per game
won. Recruiting the most unlikely team in history:
a 6'8" pool shark, a girl-chasing teenage preacher,
a local cager and a muscle-bound football player.
Some underhanded hustling gets them to play Nevada

This is a very underappreciated basketball comedy
from 79' with Gabe Kaplan (better known from Welcome
Back, Kotter) This is the original 1979 retail VHS so
not exactly top of the line but she aint bad!..
