P L O T

Gable plays plantation owner Hamish Bond who has a
secret past of slave trading. Sidney Poitier plays the
freedom-yearning slave Bond has raised as a son. And
Yvonne De Carlo is a fiery belle who goes on the auction
block when her part-African heritage is revealed - and
is sold to Bond. Action master Raoul Walsh (White Heat,
