PLOT
All it takes is Ernest and a metal detector to set off a chain of
events involving the Crown Jewels of England, Scotland Yard, and
evil doctor and a giant ranaway cannon. With the help of his
buddy, Professor Abner Mellon, Ernest unearths Goliath, the
largest cannon ever made. According to one legend, Goliath
contains the real Crown Jewels, which were stolen by colonists in
1773. Beginning with one tiny downhill ride, Goliath takes Ernest
on a hysterically dangerous adventure pursued by unscrupulous
historians, the British authorities and worst of all - Abner's
Wife. Ernest Rides Again, an action comedy that only a family can
love.
