Plot: Rod Steiger plays Christopher Gill, a theater manager and
serial killer of various women in New York City who plays
taunting mind games with Moe Brommel, a dogged police
detective on his trail who's always one step behind him,
while Gill begins stalking an attactive woman (Lee Remick)
whom Brommel begins courting.

No Way to Treat a Lady" was based on a novel by William Goldman,
who would go on to write screenplays for "Butch Cassidy and the
Sundance Kid," "All the President's Men", "The Princess Bride",
and many others.

The movie is notable for a couple of incidental things: it was shot
as New York City's Lincoln Center was under construction, and
features, in smaller roles, David Doyle, better known as Bosley from
Charlie's Angels, and a young Doris Roberts, now featured on
Everybody Loves Raymond.
