Ich bezweifle dass der Regraded Look so beabsichtigt war.

Hier die gleiche Szene wie aus Bild 1, vom Instagram Profil von Michael Hatzer, dem Koloristen von dem Film:

Farben sind die gleichen wie auf der Blu-Ray.

Aber der hat wahrscheinlich weniger Ahnung davon als QfG...

finde es auch total schwierig, wenn jemand einfach die Farben ändert, nur weil die einem nicht passen. Man ändert ja auch nicht die Szenen oder schneidet einige raus. Ansonsten ist das Release top. Aber Farben ändern geht gar nicht. Ich finde das ist ziemlich anmaßend.

Ich kann gar nicht verstehen, wieso man bei Gordon auf - klickt, schließlich hat er einfach nur die Vergleichsbilder eingeordnet. Hier wurde unnötig an den Farben gespielt und nichts anderes hat er aufgezeigt.
Es wäre ja etwas anderes, wenn das Material auf der BluRay "schlecht" wäre und vom ursprünglich gewolltem Bild abweichen würde, ansonsten bin ich da bei Mr.xy.

Das ist ja wohl dem "Künstler" selbst überlassen, da ist also überhaupt nichts "schwierig" dran, weil bei nicht gefallen, einfach nicht laden und gut ist.

Du hast deine Ansicht zu dem Thema und ich habe meine. Wenn dich das nicht stört, habe ich kein Problem damit. Mich stört so etwas und deshalb habe ich es erwähnt.

Meiner Meinung nach war die Kunst bereits vorhanden. Es zu "verbessern" schmälert die Arbeit des echten Coloristen und verfälscht das von ihm gewollte Bild, so wie es vom Regisseur abgenommen wurde und wie es für alle vorgesehen war.

Mehr gibt's dazu nichts zu sagen.

Ich wünsche dir trotzdem einen schönen Tag.

Ich finde es in diesem Fall eher "schwierig", weil das Bild verschlimmbessert wurde.

Gegen Regrades, welche sinnvoll und gut gemacht sind habe ich persönlich nichts, aber in diesem Fall hier ist alles sehr blaustichig geworden und zudem ist der Kontrasteindruck des original Gradings verloren gegangen.

Nicht immer ist es gleich ein "Grünstich" wenn das Bild mal ein wenig wärmer ist. Im Falle diesen Filmes passt es sehr gut und hat nichts gemein mit einem typischen Grünfilter, wie er z.B. bei Jurassic World 1 eingesetzt wurde...

Naja, man weiß es halt nicht vorher, ob es so richtig vermurkst wurde wie hier. Das sind 63 GB für den Papierkorb. Tut mir leid, für QfG, der ja Zeit investiert hat und für die Leute, die es sich gezogen haben und zumindest dann enttäuscht sind, wenn es keine Verbesserung des "schlechten Materials" ist. Deiner Argumentation folgend dürfte man selbst zu den schrottigsten Releases und Gruppen nichts sagen, weil der Künstler evtl ein asynces Release in mp4 wollte...

Ich behaupte, es ist ok, wenn man mal ein Release aus nachvollziehbaren Gründen nicht abfeiert. So bleiben immer noch 98-99 von 100 Releases die top sind.

Selbstverständlich ist das Ok. Ich erstelle in erster Linie Filme für mich selbst und teile das, dem einen gefällts, dem anderen nicht. Daran ist nichts auszusetzen. Und wenn ein Grossteil das gerne im Original Grading will, beuge ich mich auch mal dem Wunsch der Community, in dem Fall hier war es eh leicht, da ich Projektdaten und Intermediate noch hatte. Solange Kritik auch nachvollziehbar angebracht wird, wie es hier war, ist das voll Ok und beschädigt mein Ego nicht.
