I am back in Tasmania this week fishing with Garry Barmby from Angling Adventures.
I was having a tough time in trying conditions, so I called Garry to come to the rescue.
He took me to a secret hideaway about 45 minutes from Hobart in a southeasterly direction.
It is called Twin Lakes and it is famous for its monster wild brown and rainbow trout.
Just a short walk to the upper lake and we were into it.
The rainbow trout we catch are as big as you could ever hope to see.
One of them stretches from my armpit to the tip of my fingers.
The method is fly-fishing and the fly is a wet mudeye imitation.
Sit back and enjoy the serenity. It is just one of those special places.
