Plot outline
Bear Grylls is a seasoned adventurer who served with the
Special Air Service, a special forces unit of the British
army, where he was trained as a survival expert. His
experiences include climbing Mount Everest, crossing the
freezing North Atlantic Ocean in a small, open boat and
climbing a Himalayan peak described by Sir Edmund Hillary
as 'unclimbable'. He has been places and done things that
would defeat most normal people. But now, he is up against
something completely different.
Ripper's notes
Rarely does one see such a fucked up DVD release of a show.
First they release collections, not seasons, a way to piss
people of, but nothing new. Additionally every collection
seems to exist in at least a dozen different versions sold
with identical names but different content. Not a sinlge
episode list for the collections matched the actual eps on
the DVDs we got. Of course the episodes do not show a title
so that we can only hope to have identified the right ep
names.
Proper notes: Momentum and Phase failed to ivtc to 25fps.
Now you might wonder why we ivtc a US show from an NTSC DVD
to 25fps. Easy: The series is produced for Discovery by the
british company Diverse Bristol and is originally PAL.
Between: every single TV cap of this show is also bad fps.
