PLOT
Duncan (Robin Nedwell) and Dick (Geoffrey Davies) return from
their escapades on the MS Begonia ('"Doctor at Sea" (1974)' )
and manage to wangle new jobs at St Swithin's Hospital.
Unfortunately for them, Professor Sir Geoffrey Loftus ('Ernest
Clark' ) is still on their case...
EPISODE SUMMARY
Season 1, Episode 3: It's The Thought That Counts
To celebrate Sir Geoffrey's twenty years as a professor of
surgery Dick and Duncan decide to buy him a present to
celebrate the event but the other doctors are not keen as they
have had recent run-ins with the great man. Dick eventually
buys him a tape recorder but it has a mind of its own and
accidentally begins recording - a conversation the doctors are
having in which they all criticize Sir Geoffrey.
