As reported on earlier this week, this new patch finally updates the rosters in PES 2016. The game will no longer be outdated. They have also updates several faces for many of the players too.

Some other changes include updated kits and gear for many football clubs and leagues. There will also be some new boots and balls that are available in this new update too.

Update patch 1.02 for PES 2016 also fixes the following bugs and issues:

-When a player is undergoing treatment for injury Become a Legend mode, the speed of the game can not be changed with the L1 or R1 buttons.
-While you are playing in competitions myClub, players on the bench are not shown in the Squad Management
-When Pass Support Level is turned OFF, the low cross can not be executed by pressing circle twice

Einige Ergänzungen zum Inhalt des Data Pack, Update 1.02:

DP1 adds:
- updated line-ups and transfers (data based on August 30th!)
- 77 new player faces (full list below)
- 12 pairs of boots
- 8 new clubs and a match ball.

To coincide with the new Data Pack, title update 1.02 has also been released. As well as providing “minor adjustments for a variety of modes to improve the general gaming experience”, whatever that covers, the following fixes have also been fixed:

・While players are under treatment for an injury in a match for Become A Legend mode, not able to change the game speed with [L1]・[R1]
・Playing a match in [myclub COMPETITIONS], [Reserves] would not be displayed in the [SQUAD MANAGEMENT]
・If [Pass Support Level] is switched [OFF], Low Cross cannot be made by ○ button ×2
・Super Cancel is requested at the same time as the Power Gauge is shown for a Shot or a Pass is requested, Player Movement cannot be controlled.
・While Shot Type is set to [Advanced], pressing the button just for a moment results in shooting the ball to the direction of the touch line.
・COM Team Players is set to the lower than 2 players in the Free Training, COM would not shoot a Free Kick in COM’s possession.

Hier mal etwas genauer und auf deutsch als Ergänzung zu den beiden oberen Posts:
- alle Mannschaften aktualisiert
- Einige europä. Teams wurden neu ins Spiel integriert (siehe Link unten)
- zahlreiche neue Trikots, viele wurden auf den aktuellen Stand gebracht
- mehr als 70 neue realistisch dargestellte Spieler wurden hinzugefügt
- neue Schuhe von den großen Sportmarken
- einige Banden und Tribünenelemente wurden erneuert
- Gameplay-Verbesserungen
