We just rolled out update 1.3!
Third Person View Mode
Update 1.3 adds the ability to play the entire game in third person, simply press the "Z" key (or "Right D-Pad" on controllers) to toggle between first and third person.
It's important to note the game was designed from scratch with first person in mind, so we still recommend playing in FP to experience the game how it was imagined. But we added the feature due to community request and it's a great addition for players who prefer third person games!
You may occasionally encounter minor bugs in third person while we iron them out, if this happens simply switch to first person, do what you were trying to do and switch back, we'd really appreciate a report on here too!
New Features
Added a third person view mode!
Added a temporary FOV change switch (press "Num +" to switch between 90, 100, 110, 120).
Added a new location.
Re-Painted the player model with completely new 4K PBR materials.
Added UHD and 4K resolutions (These are untested and should be considered a beta feature!)
Fixes
Fixed a bug that could cause a never ending storm.
Update 1.2.6
14 November - Natcracker
Hey!
We just uploaded the latest update, adding resolution options and refining combat when going up against a Witch!
Added a resolution option to the settings menu in the Main Menu.
Refined combat when fighting a witch to make it more responsive and feel like you actually landed the hit.
Stopped all spawned actors from ticking unless essential, this is to further optimize performance.
EDIT: You can now invert your mouse in the ingame menu, I didn't think this tiny update was worth a new announcement.
Welcome to Hanwell Update 1.2
28 October - Natcracker
Hey guys! Another little update to keep you going.
Content
Added 4 new weapons.
Added 1 new location.
Fixes
Fixed a bug that would cause bombs to sometimes explode twice.
Fixed a bug that could cause the player to get stuck in the Hospital operating theatre.
Fixed a bug that would cause streetlights to be on or off randomly, potentially causing areas too dark to play.
Welcome to Hanwell Update 1.1.1
26 October - Natcracker
Thanks for the feedback guys. Here's a list of the latest fixes/changes:
There are now 60% less bombs in Hanwell, they seemed to be getting annoying for most players and so you are now less likely to run into them.
Enemies will present themselves much more frequently.
Weapons are now much less likely to cluster.
Saving your game at an ATM will now act as a true checkpoint, we recommend you use them too since more enemies means more death.
Another little update!

We just put out a small update for you! Expect new content soon.
Fixes:
Fixed the back button in settings and changed it to read "Apply"
Capped the number of potential enemies spawning in the Power Plant to 5.
Cach points (ATM's) can now be used to save your game. (Note: These are soft checkpoints saving progress but not location!)
First Kill achievement should trigger now. (At least it does for all of us.)
Removed the exploit on final mission in Mayors office, you should go check out The Doctors office if you're stuck.
Ensured the texture is definitely on the pillar.
WtH is now DRM free. (Pirates will pirate regardless it seems)
Added a difficulty prompt enabling the immediate discovery of all map locations for players who prefer not to explore.
