OK. Yes there was a glitch in the latest Lost Girl episode. However we have now
confirmed with two other people that the video drop in question was not any fault
of ours and was present in the actual broadcast from the shitty network known as
Showcase. Videoredo output was clean and aside from watching 44mins of the show
there's nothing we could do to catch it.
We're put in a difficult spot here because we know alot of people were/are waiting
for the episode. If we had caught it before PRE, we could have not pred, but there
is no rerun untill Thursday night and even then there's no gurantee that the episode
will screen properly on the rerun. Showcase has done this before (last season)
where an episode cut to a break in mid sentence. We waited and the rerun was the same.
Either way we're the bad guy. Wait and anger people who've already been waiting 4 weeks
for a new episode or release it (either knowingly/unknowingly - in this case the latter)
and then get the wrath of unhappy people when its not 100% flawless. I don't know about
you but I'd rather an episode is released with minor issues then go missing for days/weeks.
We will try to cap the rerun and see if it's better and RERIP if it is. If it's not
then this is probably the best us or anyone can do till retail. The episode has
been posted for streaming on showcase.ca for Canadians and those with a proxy. The missing
video is intact there and contains the end of the conversation (which you all heard
in our rip) and the video which isn't much to look at and ends with a shot of a building.
So we'll end with this. If you know how to find us, tell us what you'd rather have
no way of watching an episode that the broadcast was screwed up on or a slightly flawed
but still watchable release. On stuff other groups can do, we usually hold off and
see if it surfaces anyway then release when/if it doesn't but .CA shows are a bit
different as not as many groups do them and trust me, we've checked with everyone since
last nights nuke. It was there for everyone.
