We didn't notice this when we did our internals and 1080p release, it appears QCF has used a bad resolution resulting in a bad ar.

Side by side comparisons can be seen here http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/105902 as you can see the ar is wrong video is squished and it appears to be over-cropped by two pixels on the bottom.
We're not sure why that is, our source is the master feed so Google Play/YouTube should have been exactly the same.
QCF has the same pixels around the edges so there was no reason to use 1272 width.
This *Screenshot removed* is a screen grab from our source, we cropped away the black and resized from that.

This is a LOSSLESS source the best available thanks to a loop hole on one of the distribution services we acquired it anonymously and without any DRM, this is not an AHDTV-like capture such as QCF's.
WebRips don't have a set ruleset however, it's a given to follow the TV rules in these cases and obviously technical flaws such the ones present in QCF's release are properable/nukeable regardless of there being no set ruleset.
QCF used 2pass
We used CRF 18 @ Slow @ Level 4.1 following the HDTV x264 ruleset along with other standard guidelines.
The audio is untouched from the source, we are sorry for the lack of 6 channel ac3 and subtitles but that's all that was made available...
