Unlike previous Hyperdimension Neptunia games, Hyperdevotion
Noire is not set within the world of Gamindustri, but instead
within a similar, but separate, world known as "Gamarket". The
goddesses of each of the four nations are locked in heated battle
against one another for dominion over this world. Just as Noire is
one step away from complete domination, the goddesses are suddenly
robbed of their powers by an unknown force. Now in order to save
the world from destruction, the four goddesses must unite Gamarket
and defeat the onslaught!
Features:
Lead goddesses in their first-ever foray into strategy RPG
gameplay, taking on enemies in a whole new way. You'll fight off
hordes of enemies in turn-based strategy, dodging laser beams and
flaming pits, and using dangerous environments against your enemy.
The more often characters are in battle together, the higher their
bond becomes. Activating the "Lily Boost" grants special stats and
abilities, while "Lily Points" can be used to activate ultra-special
moves and even goddess transformations. Don't be shy to build up
those battle relationships and seal it all with a kiss.
Sometimes Noire just wants to relax at home, and with the "SimNoire"
mode you'll be able to do just that! Customize the place by buying
furniture and accessories with in-game points, and make Noire feel
like the goddess she is. She'll also get to go out with friends and
build up her social level!
You'll get tons of replay with so many ways to boost your gear's
stats. The more enemies you defeat, the more items you can get to
customize your gear in whatever way you see fit. Let the great
experiment begin!

Having played Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth
recently, I bought this game expecting another great
experience. I was not disappointed. Re;birth's
gameplay was more fast- paced, real-time action, while
Noire is more traditional turn-based, but fun
nonetheless. Although I don't always prefer traditional
turn-based, this game really made it fun and easy to
get used to for people who don't play this style much.
The game is about a group of CPU's- who are leaders of
different nations in Gamarket (pretty much leaders of
consoles- kinda parodying the gaming industry and
console wars) joining together to get back their powers
which were taken away. Along the way, you fight against
fun enemies, some of which can later join you. This
game has a good level up system. You also get to
buy/acquire different kinds of weapons and accessories
to make your characters stronger. You can also buy /
create helpful items and Plans (which give you perks
and such). Overall, it's a very in- depth game with
lots of replay value. The style they went with this
time around is to have the characters look a little
anime-esque way, even chibi, if you will. However,
during cutscenes, the characters are drawn 2-D, and
look gorgeous- plus, the 2-D effects are cute, with
subtle movements here and there, which makes them look
like they are almost breathing and such. Really cute
game, and also showing sexy moments. Great humor,
story, and gameplay. If you like RPGs, this is a great
buy for the Vita!!

COMMENTS
So, like a lot of the reviews say, the story is not all
that great, but the gameplay itself is pretty fun and
it doesn't take a week to learn the game. It does a
better job than some other games mixing in the fight-
ing aspects w/ the RPG side of the game. There is a lot
of reading, so do not expect to just jump into the
action. The higher ratings are for the good balance of
graphics, ease of play and integrating the RPG with
descent game action.
