RELEASE NOTES

As a member of Delta Force--The Army's top secret elite Special Forces
unit, you will conduct missions swiftly and silently, in every possible
terrain, under every imaginable condition and through any means necessary.

Delta Force is a 1st and 3rd person action simulation game based on the
U.S. Army's elite Special Forces unit -> Delta Force.  As a Delta Force
operative, the player and a group of  2-3 computer controlled AI
counterparts will need to covertly infiltrate an area and avoid contact
with enemy patrols to accomplish an objective then exfiltrate without
being killed. Players can call in artillery and air support in the form
of an orbiting AC-130 Spectre gunship for assistance.

Over the course of executing land and water missions, players will set
up ambushes with mines and anti-tank weapons; take out enemy targets a
kilometer away with the .50 cal sniper rifle; and sneak up behind guards
and go for the silent kill.  Sniper teams may provide support on a given
mission to protect you from a standoff distance.

Game Mode Descriptions:

Cooperative: In this game, you replay Single Player missions where
your computer-controlled squadmates are replaced with
human players.

Deathmatch: All players are competing against each other to gain the
high score by eliminating the most opponents.

King of the Hill: In this scenario, players win by occupying a certain
area for a specific duration of time (set by the game
host).  When you are on the spot, your time will be
cumulative, meaning you can leave and when you come
back your timer will start up where it left off.
The hot zone shows up as a red circle on your GPS map.

Capture the Flag: The player wins by seeking out and capturing flags,
indicated on the GPS map as a "+" symbol (red or blue
depending on which team owns it).  There are several
variations of this game, some include having only one
flag which one team must defend, in others you may have
to return to your own base with the opponent's flag
before they get yours back to their base (indicated
by a red or blue circle on the GPS map)

Ripped:

The Intro movie stayed on the CD as well as the background music.
The latter will be in the addon. Apart from that only HUGE fake files
are missing. So if you prefer to grab the ISO make sure you're not
disappointed when it doesnt hold more.

Installation:

Unzip, use the installer or unace (e.g. xace dforce.ace c:\games\df\)
and run DF.EXE. As simple as that.
