If you're searching for the ultimate racing experience for your PC,
look no further than Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit. The classic driving
game is back, and better than ever, so hit the streets in one of eleven
supercars. All-new liscensed cars for this installement include the
Aston Martin DB7 (Angwee says the Aston Martin is the badest ass car in
the world - James Bond is an idiot for switching to BMW!), Ferrari 550
Maranello, and the Lamborghini Diablo SV. In the future, EA will make
more cars downloadable. Eight player multiplaying is supported over LAN
(but what happened to TCP/IP???!!) Finally, the police car made it back
in the game. You can even "enforce justice" from the patrol vehicle.
Install:
| Just unzip & unace,
| import *.reg files and run 3dSetup.exe to alter your 3D settings (the
| game will work even in 320x200 software rendering, though)
| Then just run NFS3.EXE
Ripped: * movies - i.e. one intro & 3 demo movies
speech - turn speech volume OFF or it gets annoying
background music - turn music (menu/race) OFF
some GFX - only if you VIEW a car - it won't spin anymore
speech & car view are coming as ADDON
background music is 150MB - maybe we can size it down a bit
otherwise look out for a Warrior release
