We are terribly sorry that a such well-known & respected group
like BATTERY wanted to score some easy points preing a proper
of questionable use and sense. Here we will explain in detail
why their release is invalid and useless.
QUOTE: "The SKIDROW update release misses certain files,
making the game nonworking if applied to the retail version of
the game."
Free tip - when trying to proper a certain release, make sure
you test it. Or in this case - even launch it. If you would do
the usual steps, you would find out that our EXE starts (!),
shows the game menu (!!) and - what's mostly shocking - it
allows you to *PLAY* the game. Even more obvious, the
Razor's/ReUnion's trainer also works flawlessly - if the game
would be nonworking for them, why they would bother to make a
trainer?!
But this doesn't picture the complete image of BAT's
negligence and willful wrong, so let's have a look at those
very important files offered by them.
When the game was released, the initial 1.0 crack came with 2
extra files - clownBold.ttg and lib_art.map plus a grass.tga
which was presented as a fix. The hindmost one was addressing
missing ground textures and game crashing after 5th mission in
each campaign as reported by some people. Some means not
everybody - others had problems despite RELOADED's fix, others
- didn't have them at all. It soon became clear that among
those people were also paying EA's customers. Those issues
have been solved by the first patches what you can see
exploring various C&C fansites and forums. It is also stressed
out by the makers of a popular CO-OP mod at their site:

Of course, we took our time & tested our release under
different operating systems and playing through the campaigns
and skirmish missions and no encountered a problem except an
utter waste of time.
As a bonus, we also analyzed the important files which our
release was lacking. Not only they are never accessed by the
game (get yourself a file access monitor peeps!), but they
seen completely broken. Just compare the 1st file with any TTF
file to see eye-popping differences.

What's even more funny, the game at 1.0 version also worked
fine without those two scraps of data. That makes us wonder
why to include a bunch of random, broken files to the release
and be so confident about their use? Maybe a better option is
to test the release thoroughly and put the attention to other,
more important tasks? We believe that was just a one-time
prank & we won't be disturbed with worthless propers.
If you want to be treated serious, act like serious. And if
something is *TRULY* not working, provide some ***PROOFS*** at
least. Thanks for reading.

Update Command And Conquer Red Alert 3 Patch 1.012
Fixes:
This is an emergency hotfix that corrects the Assault
Destroyer Black Hole Armor error from Patch 1.11. While Black
Hole Armor is active, damage reduction was increased to 35%
from what it was in patch 1.10.
Install Notes:
1. Unpack the included rar files.
2. Install the included RedAlert3_english_patch1.012.exe
3. Copy the cracked content from SKIDROW directory to your
main installation directory and overwrite.
4. Play the game
Remember to check our included cracktro first!
