Rise of Nations carries the sweeping scope of epic historical turn-based
strategy games, but gives the quick decision-making of real-time games such
as Age of Empires. The game brings to life the entire sweep of human
culture, from the late Stone Age to modern-day technology - not just in
warfare, but in city building, trade, and diplomacy. You can move through
the game timeline quickly and have a satisfying game experience without
playing for hours!
Cross genre gameplay - Combining the speed of real-time gaming with the
epic scope of turn-based strategy games, "Rise of Nations" allows players
to have a fast and fun experience with the option to complete a game in
under an hour. The game's epic scope moves throughout eight historical
epochs, tying together the mysteries of ancient philosophy and wonders of
the world.
Multiple victory conditions - Players succeed through non-military and
quasi-military strategies including espionage, political maneuvering,
technology races and population growth. Players can also choose to win
through military action.
Conquer the World - This unique, non-linear single-player campaign allows
gamers to play on a real map of the world and take over one territory at a
time. Victory in each territory gives players tribute, special resources
or bonus powers.
Lead one of 18 highly diverse nations - Players lead one of 18 nations,
each with its own distinctive nation powers and special units (Aztecs,
Bantu, British, Chinese, Egyptians, French, Germans, Greeks, Inca,
Japanese, Koreans, Maya, Mongols, Nubians, Romans, Russians, Spanish and
Turks).

1. Unzip and unace with WinAce 2.x into the gamedir
2. Start the game with "rise.exe"

We try to do no english addon dupes. This means, if there are no difference
between the english and the german/swedish version we do no addons. So take
the english addon then.
