Sno-Cross Extreme

As the name gives a hint about, this game is a sled racer game. The sleds
are big and the feeling in this game differs alot from conventional racing
games. As many other games in the same genre tries to reproduce a
realistic steering feeling, so does also this game.
The thing with sled racers is that they tend to respond very little
to small steering movements, while they respond heavily to big
steering movements. Each type of snow also has it own feel, making
the game very realistic, while all these factors add up to give the
game good control and the right feeling.
In Sno-Cross Extreme there is a total of seven tracks, which takes
the player around the world in locations like Aspen and Murmansk.
There is also a built-in level editor, where new levels are readily made.
The existing tracks are made up of jumps, bridges, steep slopes, sharp
turns and many other exciting features, often with a large amount of
jumps to make it challenging and fun at the same time. All the tracks
can be played with different settings, i.e. night/day/rain/snow which
adds great to the game's versatility. Each sled needs to be repaired
and upgraded, so one have to win the races in the championship to get
enough money to upgrade the sled. The graphics and sound are both
outstanding with great effects as well as a nice soundtrack.
For more action, multiplayer is also featured.
