June 1944. As a precursor to Operation Overlord, thousands of troops
are being dropped behind enemy lines. Your objective is to command
these troops & capture or destroy key strategic positions before the
main thrust of beach landings in Normandy. Take control of Allied
forces from D-Day, turn the tide of Axis aggression in France &
conquer fortress Europe.

Strategy game, with a vast amount of authentic infantry, vehicles and
weaponry on offer to facilitate your goals.

- Dynamic 3D engine incorporating 'true line of sight' & advanced '3D
hearing' systems, seasonal lighting, landscape scarring & multiple
stage destruction.
- Revolutionary control system, allowing for complex layered
strategies & intense micromanaged battles without the need for a

rotate, tilt & pan throughout the action.
- Advanced moral system, reflects how your troops are 'feeling'.
Troops with low morale will react less effectively, whereas high
morale troops may perform heroic actions.
- Play 2 distinctly different game modes. The arcade orientated
'Recruit' offers fast paced action over 12 levels & 'Veteran'
provides a deeper tactical experience based within a non-linear
campaign set over 25 levels with multiple linked objectives. Both
modes allow you to relive many classic battles including Utah Beach
& Operation Market Garden.
- 4-player multiplayer via LAN or GameSpy. Build your own armies
using both Allied & Axis troops across 35 levels & 4 game types.
