One planet. One chance. Take it before they do. Seven desperate
species are locked in a fierce struggle to conquer a precious
world. With galactic peace in the balance, one goal drives them
all. Take the world by whatever means necessary. Or perish.
The struggle begins. Each species lands their first colony,
equally equipped with basic supplies - and a powerful instinct
to survive. Will your drive and abilities extend to total world
domination?
This game features a "SimCity 2000 meets Master of Orion" style
with full multi-player capabilities over modem, network or even
the Internet via TEN or MPlayer!
Installation Guide
Run SETUP.EXE to install Deadlock. Note that it is possible to
run this game from a Windows 3.1/3.11 platform if Win32s has
already been installed, although this is not recommended.
Deadlock uses the WinG high-performance graphic engine, and
SETUP will automatically install these drivers, if necessary.
CD-RIP Notes
Only the animations were removed from this release: the music
and sound FX are all there. We have included the MPlayer and TEN
Internet installation packs with this release, in case you think
you're good enough to go multi-player over the Internet. =)
If you are sure you will never play this game over the Internet,
you can safely delete the MPLAYER and TEN subdirectories.
Also, this release contains full game documentation as supplied
by Accolade in both Adobe Acrobat PDF format and TXT format. An
Abobe Acrobat PDF reader has been included for your convenience.
