Playboy: The Mansion blends state-of-the-art social simulation with
traditional role-playing and empire-building gameplay. As Hugh Hefner,
you build the Playboy mansion and magazine into a dynamic cultural icon
and powerful brand. Rub shoulders with stunning women and stimulating
celebrities as you pursue the ultimate Playboy lifestyle. Grow famous
and gain exclusive access to the Playboy Archives, including footage of
the world-famous Playboy Mansion.

Update Notes:

Patch #1 defects addressed:
User is unable to select characters when playing the game on video cards
that do not support multi-texturing.
Pressing F3 during a photo shoot, to go to the wardrobe editor, produces a
crash on video cards that do not support hardware accelerated skinning.
Going into the Mansion Menu when the user has set the video resolution
higher than 1024x768, causes a crash.
Users playing the North American version, with Windows OS region settings
for a country other than the United States, have various strange bugs.
These include squashed breasts on some characters, not being able to gain
fame, and corrupted text on the Magazine Menu.
Having more than 9 saves, causes the game to potentially overwrite older
save games.

Read this NFO properly!

[Install Notes]

1. Unzip.
2. Unace manually to gamedir and overwrite the existing exe.
3. Start the game with the Playboy - The Mansion.exe.

*NOTE*

When you first begin the game you will need to hit ESCAPE as the woman
walks from the main building. Go to options and turn OFF 'Voices' and
turn ON 'Subtitles'.
