A sci-fi, turn-based, tactical, squad-level strategy game sporting the
ultimate in customization, allowing complete and easy modification of
rules, stats, sounds and graphics to simulate any battlefield, real or
imagined.

Armies of Armageddon: WDK 2K is a phenomenal design effort.  This game
will change forever how you view turned based strategy gaming.  With a
science fiction campaign included, no one needs to stop there.  You can
create almost any battlefield - in the past, present or future - and you
can do it with ease.  This game will be in the running for Strategy Game
of the Year.  And remember, you heard it here first.  Here is just a
sampling of what you get:

- Includes a 30-scenario campaign featuring unit and army advancement from
battle to battle. Easily 100+ hours of entertainment without being
redundant!

- Develop your army over time: Units are tracked individually for number
of battles and honors based on kills. Armies can improve with each battle,
be reinforced and entered into another scenario.

- Features a very tough AI that depends on good game play and not on
overwhelming numbers. You won't go into a battle already knowing you're
going to win!

- Full PBEM support!

- Full scenario maker for drawing maps, picking and placing armies,
defining the ending objectives, sending reinforcements, storylines and
assigning missions to the AI.

- Has 50 units, 50 weapons and 1000 terrain tiles, all of which can be
partially or completely redrawn and redefined.

- All graphics are standard 24-bit Windows bitmaps (.bmp) and all sounds
are standard waves (.wav) allowing you to use standard tools you already
own to make modifications.

- The depth and openness of the system allows you to simulate any time or
theme that you want. The units alone have over 100 associated stats that
are easy to understand and modify.
