Release Information:
| Now, for the first time ever, you will find no less than 6 disciplines |
| at the tip of your handlebars. You can challenge your computer or
| confront a friend in the category of your choice: Race, Cross, Super
| Cross, Trial, Traffic or Freestyle.
| The motorbikes' functions were designed using construction data and
| actual telemetric information so that riding feels very different on
| whichever bike is available (125 and 250 cc in Supercross and
| Motocross, 250 and 500 cc in races, trial bikes). More than sixteen
| ultra-realistic circuits will plunge you into a range of completely
| different environments: Grand Prix, Indoor, Outdoor, city circuits
| and racetracks.
The game's incredible realism is further increased by the inclusion
| of internationally renowned stadiums and circuits such as Suzuka in
| Japan, Eastern Creek in Australia, Sachsenring in Germany or the
| Stade de France for Super Cross. Perfect your cornering, braking
| and accelerating and the paths you take during the races. In
| supercross, you will also be able to control the thrust and adjust
| the bike's stability. In the trials, skill and composure are
| essential if you are to overcome the obstacles. Finally, in the
| midst of the traffic, weave your way between the cars and toot to
| get the dawdlers out of your way...
| NOTE:
| Everyone remembers Moto Racer 3 which came out last year on the PC as
| it was the frist game (and only game so far!) to use the well known
| protection TAGES from Thales Corporation.
| It's a descent protection but it only took our mates from CLS & FLT
| 48 hours from the store date to crack it! I'm told the elite guy who
| cracked this found the game so shitty that he didn't even wanted to
| bother with the updates. So it was left to DVNiSO / MYTH or RAZOR
| to get the job done. Personnally i had put 1 Euro on DVNiSO / MYTH
| as they are really the updates masters but it took them nearly 6
| months to come up with a non-working Moto Racer 3 Update. Since the
| game pretty much sux without the updates we felt like end users might
| want to download a version that could support updates regardless of the |
| format. Scene is full of BIN/CUE nazis but when, for exemple, the elite |
| boys in ECHELON imposed DiscJuggler images on the Dreacmast scene nobody|
| really bitched.
| These days all burners can deal with Clone CD as the boys at Elby have |
| really improved the support. The release has been tested on a very old |
| burner Plextor CDR-412C (firmware 1.03) from 1997 and a brand new
| 70 Euros cheapo Lite On LTR-40125W WS03 without any troubles.
| Q: Can I image Tages originals at home using specific Clone CD settings?|
| A: Not until Clone gets updated to create working backup of Tages.
| Q: Once I burn your version of Moto Racer 3 can I copy it for my
Mates using clone CD?
| A: NO! you must keep the rar or our original image. Sorry about that.
As we manually edited the sectors that contains the TAGES
protection and the TOC.
| Q: Can I apply all the Moto Racer 3 updates?
| A: Yes sure that's the purpose of this release. Helping all the
end users that were deceived by DVNiSO non working patch. Please
note that this is the US version of Moto Racer (we choose to do
the US one cause it's completly unreleased material as FLT did
the European version). So use the updates attached. Yes they
are untouched.
| Q: I am a gey german nuker from DNS/MYTH should I nuke your release?
| A: Yes of course, x10 please, as non working patches are better
than lameass clone CD release that at least 5% of the people cant
burn. Plus the game is old so nuke x20 at least! Plus, 6 months
to create a Clone CD is a joke, as in 6 months elite groups like
DVNiSO can do half cracked patches!
| Q: Will future titles featuring the TAGES protection be cloneable?
| A: Most likely unless they completly redo the protection. Somehow
I doubt with only one game protected they could really break even
the investement.
| Q: When I burn your moto racer in Clone CD 4 I get a warning message
about the TOC what should I do?
| A: Ignore it. It's just that Clone isn't really used to TAGES clones
yet.
| Q: Playing your version is the one & only way to play with an
updated version of Moto Racer 3?
| A: Yes until DVNiSO/MYTH figure it out as their patch isn't working.
| Q: Can I use your Moto Racer 3 image with Deamon tools or Fantom CD?
| A: I would recommand burning it but I briefly tested it under DT
and it seems to be working... but as I said we strongly recommand
you to burn it.
Install Notes
| Unrar, burn with Clone CD 4. Ignore errors. Install Updates. Play!
| CloneCD will pop up warning when you go to burn.
| Click OK for the default option (leave TOC and burn to end of image).
| We've included cheat.zip (thanks to The Power of RA / CLS for that one) |
| Unpack it in your game dir and you can unlock all bikes & tracks.
