Well we brought you the extremely hyped DUNE 2000; now we're bringing you
as requested, the files necessary for you to start playing on the internet.
This little package includes the latest version of WESTWOOD CHAT (westwood's
software for their free-online gaming network) as well as the necesasry DUNE
2000 registry entries. The version of WESTWOOD CHAT that is included in this
package IS the latest as of September 5th, 1998 and is readily available at:
http://www.westwood.com/westwoodonline/signup.html
so all the latest versions are available at the above url. Hope you enjoy
the game as well as this multiplayer addon.

1. UnZIP and run INSTALL.EXE to install the WESTWOOD CHAT installation
EXE to a temporary directory of your choosing. Or UnACE it manually
to a temporary directory of your choice.
NOTE: People who ALREADY HAVE ACCOUNTS ON WESTWOOD CHAT - import the
D2K.REG to your registry file and skip to STEP 4.
2. If you UnACED MANUALLY, then you MUST import D2K.REG into your registry
manually (at dos prompt, type "regedit d2k.reg")
3a. If you DO NOT already have WESTWOOD CHAT installed, then you must run
WC4221E.EXE to install it and consequently create yourself an account
on their network.
3b. If you DO have WESTWOOD CHAT installed and already have an account on
their network, skip step 3a.
4. Run DUNE 2000 and select MULTIPLAYER, then click INTERNET. Insert your
account information as prompted.

Did I import D2K.REG into my registry?
Did I install or do I have WESTWOOD CHAT installed on my system?
Do I have a valid WESTWOOD CHAT login/password?
