This fix permits you to execute the game upon Win9X kernel Operating Systems.
It should allow the game to run on Win 95, OSR2 (95b), 98, 98SE, ME, NT.

Win 9X users will receive the following error
(with the RELOADED Crack or the Original):

"The DOOM3.EXE file is linked to missing
export KERNEL32.DLL:GlobalMemoryStatusEx."

The game developers did a call to that KERNEL fuction.

The GlobalMemoryStatusEx function obtains information about the system's
current usage of both physical and virtual memory.
Requires: Windows 2000/XP or later; Win9x/ME are NOT supported.
There is a Win9x function that will basically do the same thing.

NOTE:
The following two releases seem pretty worthless (and they both contain the
SAME file!):
Doom.3.ANYOS-iND
DOOM.3.INSTALL.ON.ANY.WINDOWS.OS-Starfuckers
The game will install fine on Win9X (and probably Win NT) *WITHOUT* the
modified "Doom 3.msi" file from the above releases.
The Setup says that Win9X and Win2000 are not supported and that if you
continue to install that the game will NOT run.
But, you can just continue and install it perfectly fine.
You would get the same error when using the patched MSI file also
(what good is that new MSI doing anyway?).

NOTE2:
Alright, we supply a fixed version of the Original PROTECTED game EXE.
This is for people who bought the game and want it to work on Win 9X/NT.
CloneCD users on Win 9X/NT can also use this EXE.

Install:
Run the game installer.
Continue past the message about your OS being unsupported.
After the install completes, unrar DOOM3.EXE into your Doom 3 directory!
Play and have fun.
