Instructions

Extract the included 'engine.dll' into the \Bin directory of your
Painkiller installation directory.

Notes

This patch is a public, private & LAN server patch. Using the games
setting of public server you can allow the server to show on a gamespy
listing or not. Cracked public servers will show up on the internal game
listing of course.

Scene Notes

The earlier released deviance patch has a problem when used for any
servers outside of the LAN. Due to the nature of the patch Painkiller is
unable to resolve any IP's. Not those of gamespy only, but also not the ip
which you can enter in the edit box in-game. This limits their patch to
LAN functionality only, which does not fit the release label.

(and play internet & LAN).... The choice is yours
