Everything is going to change in the world of sport simulation. Thanks to
the most advanced 3D technology never has a game got so close to the
athletics tracks.
Recreation of the stadiums both inside and outside, and their
surroundings. A system of more than 15 intelligent cameras allows a view
of the competition from all imaginable perspectives. Competitors can be of
all races, male or female and, according to the sports discipline in which
they are expert, they will have different anatomical characteristics.
Their physical appearance is also unique.
Remember those games that ended up burning the keyboard out? They are
history. Millennium Games is the result of a totally innovative concept in
the world of athletics video games which succeeds in leaving behind
unrealistic keyboard simulation.
Game Features:
Mouse Driven Power (MDP)... Forget the Keyboard With this absolutely new
system of control, you will handle velocity, breathing, and the angle that
determines the results in jumps and throws, only clicking over your mouse
buttons. Everything depends upon the skill of each player. In the speed
races, reflexes will be fundamental, in long distance, the strategy, while
in throws and jumps it will be necessary to look for coordination between
the distinct actions. A mixture of reflexes and strategy that will surpass
all the expectations.
Team Arcade: As captain of an athletics team, you have to obtain the
greatest number of medals and improve your list of winners participating
in the championships in each one of the 17 events. Control a team of 8
athletes, two for each type of competition (speed, distance, throw and
jump), compete and obtain the marks necessary to advance to the rest of
the events in each category.
Training Manager: Plan your career as a decathlete and participate in the
most important athletics meetings until you reach your goal. You will be
able to count on the assistance of a complete technical team: trainer,
assistant, physical trainer, doctor, manager... Your skill in the control
of the athletes is important, but even more so is an adequate decision
making process. The physical and technical training plan, the season's
planning and recuperation after injury will be decisive in your course of
development.
Sprint events: 100m/ 200m/ 400m/ 110m hurdles/ 400m hurdles
Distance races: 800m/ 1500m/ 3000m steeplechase/ 5000m
Jumping events: long jump/ triple jump/ high jump/ pole vault
Throwing events: discus/ javelin/ hammer/ shot put
To add excitement, Sergei Bubka's Millennium Games allows two players
simultaneously using the same computer and up to 8 competitors in a local
network.

Unzip, then unace manually or use our installer. Run Setup.bat to
decompress gfx + sfx. Start the game with MG.exe.
