From the group that brought you Command and Conquer: Red Alert in 1996,
and Red Alert: Aftermath in 1997, we are proud to present to you the
long awaited Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun.
This game really needs no introduction; for any gamer who doesn't know
about this title really doesn't deserve to be called as such.
Enjoy yet another 'game-of-the-year' title from your friends at RAZOR,
who have been bringing you PC games of this calibre for consecutive
years since 1991!
Install Notes & Rip Information
Ripped: Movies. Music and Speech are all there. There will be NO addons,
so download the ISO or purchase the game if you want the full thing!
We have included support for Westwood Online Internet play in this
release BUT Westwood has decided to go the way of Blizzard etc and use
unique serial numbers for installs. You will require a valid Westwood
Online account to play, and we HIGHLY advise against using WO until
after the actual release date of the game. Since we are obviously unable
to test Westwood Online support before the release date, we will be
monitoring this option after the game is released to see if problems
arise.
Since Westwood has decided not to include direct TCP/IP networking as
a multiplayer option, the recommended method to play Tiberian Sun over
the Internet is via an IPX emulator such as Kali (see
http://www.kali.net); obviously Kali won't add support until after
the real release date. =)
For now, stick with IPX network play, modem/serial play or just good ol'
single player missions. "Let's go!" =)
To install:
Unrar the files to a directory of your choice:
rar x -v -y rzr-tsun.001 c:\tsun
Run REGSETUP.EXE to setup your registry settings.
Click on SUN.EXE to play.. it's that simple.
Please note the game has options for 640x480 and 800x600 .. we recommend
the higher resolution if you can handle it. =)
