RELEASE NOTES:

This addon pack is *standalone*, you don't need the iso or a rip of D3.
An expansion pack, Descent 3 Mercenary builds upon the existing backdrop of
the award-winning Descent 3 universe. Centered around the dark conspiracy
revealed in Descent 3, Mercenary will have you flying as the leader of the
"Black Pyros" hired by Dravis to carry out his evil plans.

FEATURES:

- New 7-level, single-player mini-campaign features highly scripted, detailed
environments; enhancing player interaction. Moving parts, traps, secret
puzzles and more, add to the gaming experience.
- 4 new B-side multiplayer levels featuring a wide range of off-the-wall and
unexpected gaming environments. Emphasizing fun and humor, these "B-side"
levels add a fresh outlook to the multiplayer blastfest.
- Includes a variety of the best single and multiplayer fan-made levels
designed by Descent owners from around the globe.
- Descent 3 level editor allows you to create your own levels complete with
power-ups, robots, and scripted events.

INSTALLATION:
Unzip and unace. Run the Setup.bat first to unpack sounds. Start the game
then with D3Addon.bat or use this commandline for a shortcut/in the dosbox:

"Descent 3.exe" -mission merc.mn3 -nointro

The original game campaign (Retribution) is NOT included. You could install
the addon over the original game to be able to play that as well.
