RELEASE NOTES
Yes, DVN released this game earlier on 21 disks - but its nonworking.
Problems of the DVN-release:
- the game will crash when it doesn't find certain movies, you'll get
a "Critical Error: Can't read file ..."
- the game has a cd-check after about 90 minutes of gameplay (see your-
self with the included savegam1.zip in the first disk)
- the game has another sneaky check after about 8 hours of gameplay -
the game itself deletes all savegames (check with savegam2.zip)
- the game is practically unplayable with the small cutscenes ripped
DVN might have avoided all these problems if they had spent either more
time testing their release or just looking at what happened with the
german release of the game, which needed a bunch of fixes. But DVNs
history proves that they simply do not have the skills or even the will
to fix their own mistakes.
Because a simple fix will not make the DVN-release playable (without the
cutscenes) we decided to do a full working release of this quite good
trade simulation/strategy-game, including the cutscenes.
Game Notes:
GOOD pizza chefs and clever restaurant managers are on their way to
culinary conquer the globe. The best pizza recipes, the choice of
location, staff and interior design of your restaurant will determine
your success or failure. Having a good advertising campaign will tempt
the inhabitants of pizza world to visit your restaurant. The odd bribe
to the local mayor can only be advantageous. You will soon have the pul-
sating metropolis of the world at your feet!
BAD gangsters are raking it in shady dealings, gunrunning and blackmail.
Anything will do for the syndicate people as long as their rivals are
being harmed. A restaurant can also be perfect for laundering money.
Authorities can be "convinced" not to take things too seriously. By using
vermin, hired gangs of thugs and killers you can hurt your rivals. The
godfathers' might is right!

* In case of death: pass on your business to a successor
* Challenge your competitors to a duel or just take over the whole
opposing headquarters
Ripped:
Only the intro movies and the music were left out this time. We might do
a music addon.
Install:
Unzip, and then either unpack manually or use the Install.exe. Then run
the Regsetup.exe and start the game with Pizza.exe.
