RELEASE NOTES

The year is 2829.. the battle lines are drawn.  They are multiplying into
the void somewhere beyond Neptune, changing, evolving into new models.
Constructing their armada in hidden shipyards and factories, waiting
for the opportunity to return to Earth.

The Cybrids are ready.  (Not Hybrid, they seem to be dead)  Their legions
seem more then enough to decimate everything, according to their
calculations.  However, they have defied such conclusions before, and
Promethius wants to be even more certain.  Build a group, you have the
choice of many, and begin the long journey in defeating your enemy.. or
be eliminated and watch your entire race be destroyed.

My good friends at ORIGIN released the online STARSIEGE TRIBES back late
last year.  This game is totally different, as those who download it will
see.  Story background is similar, game is different, and there is even
single-player campaigns.  Woo.. do a little dance.

Features

~ New terrain engine with unbelievable visible distance.  A Herc can run
in a straight line at top speed for 30 minutes before reaching the
edge of the world.

~ Play from either the human or cybrid perspectives and battle through
more then 55 training, single-player, and multiplayer missions.

~ Battle across 9 unique planetary environments in the solar system.

~ Over 40 futuristic weapons to choose from, and more then 35 Hercs and
tanks to pilot.

~ Internet play that supports up to 12-20 players including the ability
to setup your own server and play Deathmatch or Capture the Flag.

Ripped

2 CD's of large files resulted in the rip of Video, Speech, and of course
the CD Audio.  The Speech has subtitles, but expect a possible addon.

Installation

To install, unzip and then either run INSTALL.EXE to use our installer
or unace manually.  Make sure STARSIEGE.EXE is in your installed dir.
Then begin playing the game by running STARSIEGE.EXE.  In Options,
you need to select both your sound and GFX cards in options.  Do NOT
forget to do that.  3D support is only for 3DFX based cards and OpenGL
on TNT.  You don't even need a friend to play this one.. Enjoy. :)
