Game Notes
Long ago, in the Age of Legends, mankind unwittingly released the Dark
One into the World. Powerful magic managed to seal him away again, but
the "seals" to his prison were lost in the chaos that followed. Thousands
of years later, four opposing forces have uncovered these seals, each
with their own agendas.
The Wheel of Time , based on the best-selling fantasy series of novels
by Robert Jordan, is set to revolutionize the world of PC gaming through
its unique mix of action, strategy and role-playing.
Single player:
The world in which The Wheel of Time takes place is lifted directly
out of Jordan's pages; it's huge and consists of many different
environments. How you navigate the world will depend largely on which
game - single player or multipayer - you're playing. The single player
experience, with a few exceptions, will see Elayna traversing the world
mainly by foot (with a couple notable exceptions). In the multiplayer
experience, your character will have more access to travel via
Ter'angreal, Portal Stones, and the Ways. However you move around,
though, you'll quickly discover that means of locomotion can easily
become the least of the your worries...
During your travels, you quickly discover that four locations are crucial
to your success in the game. Not surprisingly, these locations are the
homes of The Wheel of Time's main characters. Some of these places are
ripped directly from the pages of Jordan's books, made flesh with
Legend's unparalleled pixel-pushing ways. Other places are specific to
the game, conceived and executed with the intent of expanding this game
world even further. Either way, they provide a backdrop for some of the
most intense first person action and strategy you'll have this year.
Multi Player:
During your travels as Elayna in the single player WoT experience,
you're going to run across three other characters whose motivation to
obtain four seals is just as strong as yours. The multiplayer game is
your chance to take up the mantle of any of these characters. The thing
to remember, though, is that - whether they're viewed as good or bad -
the other characters have their own agendas and view you as an enemy.
While you're scrambling to obtain two more seals, so will everyone
else-and they won't think twice about looting your Citadel to get them!
Installation & Rip Info
Unzip all files to any directory and unrar the archives.You have to use
Winrar or a program that manages long filenames or it will get fucked up.
Run REBUILD.BAT, and after this execute WOT.EXE in the system directory.
Music and movies were cast into the Aiel wastes.

the multiplayer in this baby! Take note: While the company claims the
game will run on low-end systems, we recommend something MUCH higher.
Be sure to check out our other recent releases, Close Combat 4 and Test
Drive 6! We'll do a bit of a FAQ here now on common problems with them.
P: Close Combat 4 gives me an error saying it cannot find my TEMP dir.
S: Make the temp dir it is looking for.
P: I have no CD-ROM drive, and Close Combat 4 asks for the CD.
S: You don't have a CD-ROM?!? Make that bold step into the 90's and get
one!
P: Test Drive 6 says it cannot find DRMCLIEN.DLL.
S: You must have DirectX 7 and Direct Media 6 to play TD6. The error
is caused becuase you are missing one, both, or your copy is out of
date. Get them from: http://www.microsoft.com/directx
P: Test Drive 6's setup files error when I run them.
S: Get the INSTALL FIX from DIVINE. Do not attempt to apply OGN or other
groups fixes to the DVN release. Strange and scary things may happen.
