RELEASE NOTES
The time has come. Madden NFL 98 is out, and it's time to get off the
bench and get in the game. You can sit on the couch and watch the season
pass you by, or you can get out on the gridiron and make some big hits.
Boom! Where'd that truck come from?! This is MADDEN NFL 98 Football
PARADiGM style!
Features:
~ NEW Liquid AI based on real NFL defensive playbooks and schemes.
~ Players on both sides of the ball read, react, and play exactly like
NFL players do on the field.
~ NEW Touch Passing QB simulator - throw a lob to a lead receiver; fire
a bullet pass to hit a receiver on a timing pattern.
~ Over 120 current and classic NFL teams with updated rosters.
~ Thirty authentic NFL stadiums 3-D rendered.
*NOTE* The TCP/IP option does NOT work. EA will release a patch for it
in the future. Stay tuned.
Ripped:
Madden 101, all MPEG videos, Pat Sumerall's Play-by-Play, and Madden's
voice had to go. Be sure to catch our addon later on tonight.
Installation:
Unzip and run INSTALL.EXE to run our setup program. Once it has finished
extracting, double-click on MADDEN1.REG and MADDEN2.REG to enter the
correct registry settings. Then, run MAIN.EXE under X:\MADDEN98\EXE\ to
play the game. Please be sure to NOT run Madden 101 from the main menu.
It will not work b/c the videos were ripped. Enjoy and don't forget to
catch our release of EA's NUCLEAR STRIKE that we put out earlier today.
