Jake's Crack Notes For
Civilization v3.0 Update
Some of you may be asking yourselves, "Isn't that an old release?" and the
answer is yes. However, it just came to the attention of INC last night that
the update was not cracked. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have
caused you. Please run the file GPMV12 and everything will be taken care of.
Also, please keep the GPMV12 files as they will also be used in later
releases by myself. This will save you from having to re-download them at a
later date.
Notes: Read the enclosed file, GPMV12.DOC, for information on the setup of the
patch data file. For this game, the byte that was changed was the "Doc Check
Answered" byte. On startup this byte is 00h and when the doc check is
answered correctly it is changed to 01h.
