PLOT SUMMARY
Samba (Omar Sy, The Intouchables) migrated to France 10 years ago
from Senegal, and has since been plugging away at various lowly
jobs. Alice (Charlotte Gainsbourg, Nymphomaniac) is a senior
executive who has recently undergone a burnout. Both struggle to
get out of their dead-end lives Samba willing to do whatever it
takes to get working papers and live in France unencumbered, while
Alice tires to get her life back on track by working as a legal
consultant for immigrants. As their paths cross, Samba and Alice
find a bond that will see their lives, and those around them, change
for better.
