PLOT
A riveting thriller starring Bryan Brown as a high-powered
lawyer who will stop at nothing to achieve his dream....the
death of his rich wife.
Charlie Deegan (Bryan Brown - Breaker Morant) has everything
he has ever wanted. He has an important Law practice, a
beautiful secretary (Golden Globe winner Terri Hatcher
- Desperate Housewives) as his lover, and the chance to be
appointed to the high court. The only thing wrong is his wife,
Olivia, whose father has more power and wealth than he ever
dreamed. So when his lover, Laura, suggests that they get rid
of Olivia, Charlie is confident he can perpetrate the perfect
crime. Inevitably, things go horribly wrong when Charlie
becomes the chief suspect in a murder that was not his doing.
Academy Award winner Bill Condon (Gods and Monsters), directs
this twisting, turning, unpredictable thriller adapted from
the modern noir novel Web of Murder.
