A woman trapped in a boring marriage begins
an affair with a handsome man who seems able to
read her mind. She doesn't know that he has
broken into her house and read her diaries,
where she has recorded her deepest thoughts
and fantasies.

-+ Rip Notes +-

This is the uncut/unrated laserdisc with "foreign
version love scenes" not present in any of the current
DVD releases. The cut bits obviously add more nudity
to the "love scenes" and are worthy as that alone, but
one better they really do add to the overall tone of
the film which is important considering this is
supposed to be a convincing romantic thriller.

Thief of Hearts is one of the best unknown examples
of 80's sex appeal, design and music wrapped around
a solid romantic crime thriller mystery :D The sound
track alone holds this film high above its poor imdb
rating. That being said its still a film probably
better suited for your significant other (lol)

Also, when comparing the DVD with the LD we
noticed the LD didnt exhibit the usual pan+scan
cropping weve come to expect. Instead it shows
much more vertically and is only slightly cropped
horizantally. This isnt unheard of but we threw
in a jpg just to illustrate for the curious. You'll
notice the DVD is of a much higher quality than
this LD (as it should be) we just thought this copy
deserved to be out there too.
