Notes:
For playback do not use CoreAVC as its buggy on decoding. We
suggest using VLC media player - latest official package
0.8.6c - or one of the nightly builds. To display the subtitles
install vobsub.
There are various other methods of decoding but if you need
to read this to discover how to playback x264 mkv you're
probably better with the one-stop shop provided by VLC.
We advise other groups not to use the Sonic filters for
re-encoding the audio, since they seem to be incorrectly
applying DRC.
We recommend the Nero filters instead. Although hopefully
this is all made moot with native e-ac3 support soon.
