[Plot Summary]
Cast: Saif Ali Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Boman Irani,
Story: This film revolves around the Sethna family residing in the
hills of Panchgani. A retired sculptor Dinshaw (Naseeruddin Shah)
heads the family. Other members of the joint family comprise of
Dinshaw's wife Katy (Dimple Kapadia), brother Farokh (Boman Irani),
sister-in-law Tina (Simone Singh) and second brother Fardoonjee (Honey
Chhaya). Then arrives Cyrus (Saif Ali Khan) at the Sethna house and
stays on. As the movie proceeds it gains a psychological insight into
the family and reveals that everything is not all right with the
Sethna family. Not just that, even Cyrus comes across as a bizarre
personality.

Release Notes: We started on this NFO for a REPACK we planned to make,
but as we were typing this, D3Si pre'd a "PROPER". And we were like
"oook, this should be fun now". So we downloaded their release and
guess what? It is STILL bad.ivtc. So here cometh the REAL PROPER.
So what was so bad about the source that our usual ways failed the
first time and someone else attempted a PROPER but turned out to be
flawed as well? It turns out the material was actually made from a
PAL master (even though the source DVD we worked with was NTSC R1)
which had underwent some brutal speedup and blendconversion. This
resulted in a material which could neither be ivtc'd the usual way
nor could be deinterlaced the usual way because all the traditional
means left either jerkiness and dropped frames in panning scenes
and/or ghosting/interlaced frames. A tough material calls for tough
measures and that's what we ended up doing. Don't be shocked at the
final framerate of the avi which is 25.001 fps, because that is what
it IS. Subs are in sync, voice is in sync.
2 avi samples are enclosed for our REAL PROPER. These are taken from
fast motion scenes to demonstrate the effective removal of ghosting
frames while keeping the fluid motion of the movie. While comparing,
please don't mistake natural trail blur for ghosting. But I am sure
you guys would know it when you see it.
These samples are to be compared against 2 entities (both enclosed):

1) Avi samples of the same scenes taken from the flawed D3Si release.
2) Untouched VOB samples of the same scenes from the retail DVD.
Also enclosed are screenshot comparisons of our REAL PROPER Vs. D3Si
release. Comparions of the screens are to be conducted as follows:

Difference in frame numbers is because of the difference in the
FPS of the 2 files.
