Plot Outline : A quicky follow-up to the hugely popular King Kong.
This movie starts shortly after the events of the
first movie with Carl Denham being hounded by
subpeona servers and news reporters. He sneaks out
of his rooming house with the help of a junk dealer
and ends up sailing on board Englehorns ship again.
They end up sailing to Kong Island again and meet up
with "a small Kong" as Denham describes him "about
twelve feet tall". Some adventure and corniness
insues.
Cast : Robert Armstrong .... Carl Denham
Helen Mack .... Hilda
Frank Reicher .... Englehorn
John Marston .... Helstrom
Victor Wong .... Charlie the Chinese Cook
Edward Brady .... Red
Cy Clegg .... Sailor
Steve Clemente .... Native Witch King
Ripper's Notes:
A very quick and low budget sequel to cash in on the popularity of
King Kong. Has its moments but a bit too much anthropomorphizing.
Enjoy the show!
