PLOT.OUTLINE...:

Davey Fenwick leaves his mining village on a university
scholarship intent on returning to better support the
miners against the owners. But he falls in love with
Jenny who gets him to marry her and return home as
local schoolteacher before finishing his degree. Davey
finds he is ill-at-ease in his role, the more so when
he realises Jenny still loves her former boyfriend.
When he finds that his father and the other miners
are going to have to continue working on a possibly
deadly coal seam he decides to act.

TO.THE.SCENE...:

Recent events have shaken up considerably the scene as a
whole. While it is unfortunate, it is inevitable.
TheWretched will continue to pursue its goals and try to
bring you quality movies.

Also, we are aware that the few of you who read these
comments sometimes find them inappropriate; some even going
as far as to say we are condescending. (We love you SAPHiRE!)
I hope you all know we like to kid around a lot in this part
of our .nfo and that we are rarely trying to be negative.
Some points brought up in the past had a certain truth and
value to them we would back up any given day though.

But we all do make mistakes and as long as we try to keep it
civil, there should be no problem. Anyway, it would be nice
if groups in general strove to be a little more professional
in their endeavours and seek to help one another when in
need. We all can agree on this much ;)

RECRUITEMENT...:

TheWretched in our previous recruitment campaign. We are
still looking for certain key elements to help out in making
our group even better. As one of the longest standing groups,
