P L O T
A madman escapes from the asylum in Tel-Aviv, and starts
digging a canal right in the middle of one of the main
streets. Due to the bureaucratic mess in the city
administration, not only does nobody try to stop him,
he actually receives the help of the police, the city
engineer, etc. The one city clerk who finds out what is
really going on is, of course, declared insane...

Enjoy this Ephraim Kishon classic from VH-PROD.
Yaaaaaaa......the above is all our nfo said prior to a
suspicious FiNaLe pre of the same title.....
But now that we have your attention and that you are
reading the nfo for no reason other than this release
is tagged with the dubious title of READNFO. We would
like to bring your attention to a sad state of affairs
in what has been a typically less than cutthroat and
rather friendly classic divx/xvid scene.
The other day, FiNaLE pred
The.Big.Dig.1970.DVDRip.XviD-FiNaLe. Ordinarily, no
big deal, lost races happen all the time and we thought
nothing of it. But under more careful scrutiny of
their rip in hopes of finding a reason to proper we
found that their rip was entirely too similar to our
own. We downloaded their full release, and in
several comparisons (see attached pdf file) we
realized that there was no way that their rip
could not have been our own work.
As to how this would have happened, one might think
that our ripper uploaded it for them or something.
They did not. On one of VH-PROD's and FiNALe's
affil sites, a FiNALe dood is conveniently a siteop
with access to predirs. When bringing this
confusion up with another siteop of the site,
they were extremely cooperative in searching out
site logs to see if this were true.

Sure enough, that is the same siteop that also is
the leader of FiNALe. Must be a tough time for
the group to have to resort to stealing rips rather
than seeking out and ripping their own.
We also learned that other groups had this same
situation happen to them. Like we wouldn't
realize their dirty deeds or something?
The fact that they abused siteop privileges, and
stole other groups releases is no small matter.
Who would be interested in associating with a
group who resorts to sneaking around and taking
other's hard work (ya ya MPAA blow me).
We would appreciate if everyone would nuke
The.Big.Dig.1970.DVDRip.XviD-FiNaLe . If you
have already downloaded it, don't bother
downloading our version again. It is the same
encode + 15 or so meaningless credit seconds that
FiNaLe cut. We also hope that siteops
who have FiNaLe members on staff or as affils
take into consideration all that we and other
groups have said and punish as you deem fit.
Anyways, just my 5 cents....
