Well for those that care or have been around long enough to remember, we at VH-PROD
would like to celebrate our 15th anniversary. It's crazy how much the scene has changed
since our early days. P2P releases were re-encodes of our releases into 100mb files on Kazaa
due to crappy Wi-Fi at the time unless you were at a university or BBB in Sweden.
We were ripping in DiVX codec swearing smart bitrate control and AC3 was the best
quality ever possible. Blu-Ray wasn't a thing. So many classic movies had still
not been released on the DVD medium. We started super strong with a nuke of
a pre-DVD release date release of a TV mini-series Dinotopia. We learned the
hard way what IVTC stood for. We also learned what non-retail DVD bootlegs were.
Thanks Back to the Future. But after nearly 2,000 DiVX, XViD, SVCD and X264 releases
we feel proud in how far we've come even if we only pop up now and then these days.
Anyways enough of the nostalgia, here are some notes on the current rip
(yeah we didn't believe it wasn't ripped yet either for those of you looking to
isonews or m** right now to dupe check).
Due to an average bitrate over 2,000 kbps at CRF 19, we chose to use CRF 21 and audio is mono.
Enjoy from VH-PROD!!! Who knows where we'll be in 15 more years.......
