Notes

HAiKU does good work and their release of Your Name is no exception.
But with this one, they used the Japanese disc, which doesn't include
English audio (likely so they could release the film faster as they
pred 3+ months before the US BluRay retail release).  Our release
is primarily to cover those of us interested in the English audio.

Internal so we don't have to abide by the archaic x264 4.0 ruleset :P
(see note on subs below as to why PGS subs are almost required here)

CRF 14 is outside the normal range we would consider (16-19 is more
typical), but this film is so beautiful and we really wanted it to
look as good as possible without including the untouched 25GB video
track.  If you're wondering, these were the video track sizes with
different CRF settings:
CRF 16 4.27 GB
CRF 14 6.41 GB

We included both TrueHD and AC3 audio for both languages.  The AC3 tracks
add an extra 682 MB, but we thought it might be nice for folks who might
have compatibility issues with TrueHD.

A note on subtitles: The original disc included two subtitle tracks:
forced English and full English.  Forced is intended to be paired with
the English audio and covers only Japanese writing in the film.  Full
includes all dialogue as well as Japanese writing--intended for the
non-Japanese-speaking audience watching the film with the original
Japanese audio.

We OCRed the forced English subs for those who might have compatibility
issues with PGS subs, but ran into some complications attempting to do the
same with the full English sub track.  The complications arose because
at times, there are multiple sets of subtitles on screen in the full
English PGS--subs at the top showing translation of Japanese text
on-screen as well as subs at the bottom showing the translation of
dialogue.  The two have different timings, and as a result, confused
suprip.  Creating a proper text-based subtitle track that matches
the original PGS is not possible as far as we know, because you can't
have multiple subs on-screen at the same time with different timing.
Rather than spend a ton of manual effort to create an imperfect
text-based copy, we just left the PGS only for the full English track.

Finally, regarding the nuke of
For.a.Few.Dollars.More.1965.PROPER.1080p.BluRay.x264-COW as a dupe of
For.Some.Dollars.More.1965.DUBBED.1080p.BluRay.x264-LCHD...
Honestly, we didn't know the LCHD existed, despite a fair bit of
searching before our release.  The reason being that For Some Dollars More
is not the title of the film and LCHD didn't pre a dirfix.  We get
that "some" and "a few" are synonymous, but you can't just change
film titles on a whim.  There are a Few Things About Mary, A Few
Like It Hot, Some Good Men--none of these would be acceptable.
It's surprising that the nukers, who are strict about enforcing
standards, would allow an incorrect film title to stand without dirfix.
