Story:
It is a montage film made of unique archive materials
shot during the blockade of Leningrad in the years
1941-1944. An every day life of civilians and soldiers
was shown without a comment or music, only with the
use of natural sounds. In this way the viewer has an
impression that everything happened as recently as
yesterday.
