Rock'N Roll Wolf, aka Ma-Ma AKA Med Grimm og Gru, is close
to the definition of a cult film. A trippy 70s "rock" ballet
musical based on a Brothers Grimm fairytale, co-produced by
Romania, the Soviet Union and France. It was filmed
simultaneously in Russian, Romanian and English (with
voice-overs dubbed in for the English parts), and each
version is slightly different.

This is the English version, as shown on NRK, with Norwegian
subtitles. Unfortunately their old Beta SP copy isn't too
great, so this is rather noisy, and cropped to 4:3 from the
original 2.35:1 aspect ratio. This is most evident in the
beginning and end credits, where the text is clearly and
visibly cut off.

Still, with no planned DVD release of the English version,
this is the best version we're likely to see in a while.

Note that we already released this late 2005 as an iNTERNAL
under its Norwegian title "Med Grimm og Gru", but that
version lacked several minutes at the beginning. Five years
later we finally bring you a proper version.
