Bunta Sugawara returns as Shozo Hirono in this sequel to the acclaimed
Yakuza film Battles Without Honor and Humanity. Hirono, now dug deep into
a Japanese crime family based in Hiroshima, finds a new adversary in the
person of Katsutoshi Otomo, a ruthless killer who's willing to do anything
to promote his family's interests. Meanwhile, Shoji Yamanaka is an
ambitious criminal who quickly scales the hierarchy of the Muraoka family,
but his fall proves as sudden as his ascent.

N O T E S

In addition to starring the great Bunta Sugawara of other Fukasaku films,
including Street Mobster, it also co-stars Sonny Chiba of Street Fighter
and Kill Bill Vol. 1 fame, as well as Meiko Kaji of the Female Convict
Scorpion and Lady Snowblood movies. If you like old school Japanese
Yakuza films, then it doesn't get any better than this 5-part series.
