Plot Summary : A Russian epic, the movie traces the life of surgeon-
poet Yury Zhivago before and during the Russian
Revolution. Married to an upperclass girl who is devoted
to him, yet in love with an unfortunate woman who becomes
his muse, Zhivago is torn between fidelity and passion.
Sympathetic with the revolution but shaken by the wars and
purges, he struggles to retain his individualism as a
humanist amid the spirit of collectivism.

Ripper Notes: CD2 is actually split into two files because
of an intermission built into the movie. Sorry, but it would
not make sense to combine them, and all of Part 1 wouldn't
fit on CD1. This almost became a 3CD release but the 2CD
encode looks fine and 3 would have been even more annoying
to play ;) Scroll down for a .asx file which will make Act 1
play straight through if you like.
